About Us
ProActive Psychological Services has been established for over 20 years and operates from offices in both Parramatta and Penrith. As a group practice we are dedicated to providing the very best service to all of our clients.
Our practice offers you a highly professional service. Every one of our Psychologists has a Masters in Counselling, Clinical or Forensic Psychology and is a full member of the Australian Psychological Society. A masters degree is a key element in becoming a professional psychologist able to work independently while drawing on a very high standard of training combined with supervised experience.
In addition to our Masters training, each of our psychologists also has extensive experience and undertakes ongoing training to ensure that our high standards of competence and professionalism continue to be maintained.
Individual services
ProActive Psychological Services provides assessment and counselling services for individuals across a wide range of personal psychological difficulties. These include all of the more commonly used services such as treatment of anxiety and depression and several highly specialised services. Corporate services
ProActive Psychological Services provides a wide range of services for corporations including specialist crisis services such as Critical Incident Debriefing, retrenchment counselling, risk assessment and follow-up counselling for these services. We also offer counselling of individuals who are experiencing difficulties or with whom the organisation is experiencing difficulty. Staff and personal development services
ProActive Psychological Services provides a wide range of specialist development services for corporations including staff assessment for recruitment, promotion and training, executive coaching and personal coaching and training. These are provided through Aptitude Personal Training.
Forensic Psychology services
ProActive Psychological Services provides forensic psychology services for solicitors and their clients including assessment and reports for the court in criminal, compensation, immigration and treatment programs to assist people with issues that are contributing to offending behaviour.
Personal Development
We also offer services that are designed to assist people to develop their lifestyle, their level of success in many areas of their life including their career and their financial situation, and to develop personal skills in areas such as emotional control, communication skills, and other areas of life development.
